Mezzanine connectors, DF40C-80DS-0.4V(51), HIROSE
The DF40C-80DS-0.4V(51) is a shielded double-row 0.4mm female header with 80 positions, gold plated phosphor bronze contacts, a black LCP insulator and a shielded plate. The DF40 series connector has an SMT mounting method, straight connector alignment and prevents solder wick from entering the connector. The space-saving design has a minimum connector width, yet still leaves a sufficient vacuum area for easy pick-and-place assembly with a minimum width of 3.38 mm. The use of guide ribs allows a self-alignment of 0.33 mm for this connector. Both sides of the connector have been reinforced with additional shock absorbing ribs. Nickel-plated barriers have been added to protect the contact areas from potential solder wick.
