Shielding
Shielding materials: Copper, aluminum and iron alloys
Electromagnetic waves and other influences can cause interference in electronic devices and systems. To reduce interference fields that occur, protective tapes made of shielding materials are used. Copper and aluminum shielding tapes are considered particularly reliable in this context and are also protected against corrosion. Aluminum tapes are used, for example, for masking in galvanic processes - such as sealing pipes or containers. Copper strips, on the other hand, are particularly suitable for shielding against electromagnetic fields and for grounding or protection against static charging. Solderable shielding tapes are increasingly in demand among Bürklin Elektronik's customers. Special copper braided tapes are used to enclose irregular shapes. Also in our range: special shielding foils made of highly permeable nickel-iron alloys.
