Signal lamps & signal lights

Signal lamps and signal lights are used to draw attention to certain conditions. They are mostly used for safety purposes, especially as they indicate dangers or other exceptional conditions. In this context, the respective color of the lamp informs about the exact circumstances. Red, for example, indicates a danger, whereas yellow signals a warning. Green indicates that normal conditions currently prevail. The color blue has a special position among the signal colors - it is often associated with a command.
