PC Measurement and Data Loggers
PC measurement technology and data loggers
In test and measurement technology, it is important not only to reliably acquire the desired measurement data, but also to transmit it to other locations and process it further. For those measuring instruments that cannot process data themselves, PC measurement technology is used in the form of special transducers and amplifiers. The transducer converts the so-called input variable into a readable output variable. In this way, the measured data can be reliably read out and further processed. The measuring amplifier, in turn, is responsible for filtering, linearizing, amplifying and normalizing electrical signals so that they can be converted into versions that can be further processed. Where periodic measurements at specified time intervals are required, so-called data loggers are used - processor-controlled storage units that transfer data to a storage medium at a regular rhythm. Data loggers are used to reliably process measurement data such as current, voltage, temperature, humidity or acceleration. The special USB measuring systems in Bürklin Elektronik's product range serve as extensions to internal measuring cards. They are particularly suitable for the reliable acquisition of measurement data that must be taken on site.
