Network and storage media
To establish a connection between a device and a network, special routers and servers are necessary. Whether WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), LAN (Local Area Network), WWW (World Wide Web) or WAN (Wide Area Network): The router serves as the connection point between the respective network and a device such as a computer, laptop or tablet. The router receives data packets via several interfaces and forwards them independently to selected interfaces. Data can thus be exchanged easily between the device and the network. Easy-to-install network cards expand the respective computer with inputs or outputs for printer, monitor or USB connections, for example. With the help of special storage media, it is possible to store digital data and information simply and easily on a device. The file format is irrelevant. The data can then be accessed again at a later date or processed on a laptop, computer or tablet. The USB stick, which can be connected to devices via USB port, is practical for traveling. Various memory cards are particularly in demand. Despite their small size, micro SD cards have a storage capacity of up to 64 gigabytes. The data is stored and read via a card reader integrated in the device or an external card reader. For larger amounts of data, special hard disk drives are suitable, which can hold up to 500 gigabytes. Also in our range: accessories, mounting and storage utensils.
