Insulating Bush
Insulating bushes: protection against moisture and corrosion
Moisture, electrolysis and corrosion severely affect semiconductors and other active components. Short circuits can occur and the performance and service life of electronic devices are significantly affected. Insulating bushings provide a remedy: they serve as insulation and contact protection, protect against moisture, electrolysis and corrosion, and ensure the safe use of semiconductor components.
They are often used when electronic components such as circuit boards and semiconductors are to be mounted in an insulated manner on heat sinks or in housings. They can also be used to effectively separate different circuits within circuits. Plastic, ceramic or Teflon: Depending on which materials insulating bushings are made of, they offer different insulation properties and resistance to heat.
