Robust operating elements with independent mounting from RAFI

The RAMO 22 and RAMO 30 product series from RAFI include control elements with a diameter of 22.3 mm and 30.3 mm respectively – from illuminated pushbuttons, emergency stop buttons, selector and key switches, signal lights to mushroom pushbuttons and RJ45 feedthroughs. A special feature of the RAMO series is the closed housing with an independent mounting option. The enclosures are sealed all round and, depending on the version, have a protection rating of at least IP65. This makes them particularly suitable for use in damp and dirty environments without the need for additional sealing. The plug & play connection via standard M12 connectors makes installation easy and avoids time-consuming manual wiring.

The mounting options for the RAMO components are just as flexible. The RAMO EDGE mounting bracket makes it easy to position the components horizontally or vertically at the desired location. The mounting bracket has an edge dimension of 40 mm and fits perfectly on 40 mm aluminum profile rails. The operating elements are inserted into the mounting hole of the bracket and fixed in place. In tight spaces, M12 connectors with a right-angled cable outlet enable simple connection. The maximum installation depth is 36.2 mm.

RAMO pushbuttons for switching reliability and durability

The RAMO product family from RAFI also includes a variety of different pushbuttons. The RAMO pushbuttons integrate the MICON 5 series micro pushbuttons and offer high switching reliability and durability with their low-wear gold contacts. The pushbuttons are available with illuminated pushbutton surfaces with redundant NO contacts for safety applications and also as mushroom pushbuttons. Individual inscriptions can be added using the FLEXLAB labeling system.

The emergency stop pushbuttons in the RAMO E product series have been developed in accordance with the current ISO and IEC standards and are available in various versions. The RAMO S selector switches offer various switching states and are available both illuminated and non-illuminated. The RAMO K key-operated switches, which are also available in different versions, are available for secure locking of actuating functions.

The RAMO product family is rounded off by signal lamps and data cable bushings. The RAMO I LED signal lights enable energy-efficient display of system and machine statuses. With the RAMO F USB and RJ45 feed-throughs, Ethernet connections can be implemented decentrally. For example, maintenance work or the parameterization of machines and interfaces for application data can be carried out quickly and easily.
