From the beginnings until today
More than 100 years of pioneering work: Hammond was the first supplier in Canada to respond to the booming broadcasting and communications industry at the beginning of the 20th century by manufacturing specific enclosure models.
The company took advantage of the increasing demand for electronic products in the 1950s and 1960s to develop new products and diversify. Hammond quickly became a major supplier of transformers, racks and racks, enclosures and covers.
In the following decades, Hammond focused on the U.S. and world markets. The Canadian company now has more than 700 employees. The aim is to offer high-quality, high-performance products - including top service.

Hammond extruded enclosures
Extruded Aluminium enclosure range that cover numerous applications including General purpose, Watertight, EMI Shielded and Heat Dissipating. Various colours are offered as standard, with some versions including metal end panels or plastic end caps. Desk-top or wall mounted options available across the range.
Enclosures are designed to house P.C. Boards or for equipment interfacing. Most enclosures offer numerous mounting heights for P.C. Boards as well as a Belly Plate to allow for easy access. Watertight version are designed to meet IP65. Numerous accessories are available including coloured end caps and bezels.
Hammond plastic enclosures
A variety of plastic enclosures are available that are Multi-Purpose, Industrial, Wall Mounted, Desktop, Instrument and Handheld. General purpose ABS, Flame Retardant and Polycarbonate materials to suit both indoor and outdoor applications.
Choices also given for thin wall, thick wall and watertight versions. Easier PCB mounting options with internal board mounting qualities and features such as battery compartments also offered. There are several standard colours and hundreds of sizes to choose from across the plastic range.
Hammond diecast enclosures
Diecast Aluminium enclosures for General Purpose, Instrument, Industrial and Stomp Box application. Providing EMI/RFI shielding improvement. A tough material, yet easy to machine to your component requirements. Various mounting options available and some with flanged lids or bases. Multiple series offered with UL listing and watertight versions. Choice of standard colours, plain aluminium and different shapes available across this range.
Hammond industrial enclosures
A vast selection of Industrial enclosures covering Wall Mount, Junction, Hygienic, Instrument and Control Housings. Multiple materials including plastic, steel, stainless steel and aluminium which cover a broad spectrum of design needs.
Features such as clamped covers, ¼ turn latch covers, window doors, dual access, panel mounting, DIN rail mounting is offered. A huge range of accessories also available. Many UL listed and watertight versions in this range.
