Klauke: Specialist for cutting and pressing tools
From family business to global success: Gustav Klauke and his brother founded a small company in Remscheid-Osterbusch back in 1879. The pliers produced there were particularly popular with watchmakers. As the product range expanded, so did the company's customer base, and Klauke began to sell his tools internationally.
Today, the company is best known for its high-quality pressing and cutting tools. These are used continuously in the electrical trade as well as in sanitary applications.
A wide product range: From crimp connectors and end ferrules to press clamps, Klauke also offers numerous complementary products in the area of pressing and cutting. The development and sale of electrical connection technology including accessories represent a further business field of the German tool manufacturer.
What applies to all of Klauke's tools is the company's commitment to quality. Since many products are used in areas with high safety requirements, they meet the highest demands in terms of safety and robustness.
The idea of innovation also plays an important role at Klauke. With products such as Klauke Micro, the world's first electromechanical crimping tool with PowerSense function, or the 2-in-1 tool Mapax, Klauke regularly sets new standards.
Top product categories: Wire end ferrules, crimping pliers and more
In the range of crimping and cutting tools, Klauke is one of the world's leading manufacturers. Whether electromechanical crimping pliers or insulated ring cable lugs: Klauke offers the right tool for every demand.
Wire end ferrules from Klauke
Klauke has been making a name for itself in the field of electrical connection technology for many years. For example, the company offers a wide range of wire end ferrules. These are used to protect the ends of stranded wires and to connect individual wires in terminals without damage.
This method is a time-saving alternative to the time-consuming soldering of stranded wires. Klauke offers wire end ferrules in various designs for splice-free cable entry.
Cable lugs from Klauke
For clean and safe pressing and crimping, the choice of the appropriate cable lug plays a particularly important role. Cable lugs are available both fork-shaped, ring-shaped or as flat plugs. To prevent hardening and strains in the material, cable lugs from Klauke are annealed in an additional manufacturing step.
Klauke's extensive range includes insulated, partially insulated and non-insulated cable lugs with different diameters and for different cable cross-divs.
Crimping pliers from Klauke
Crimping pliers from Klauke are used especially in the electrical trade. They are practical, multifunctional pliers for pinching, stripping and crimping.
Electronic components such as wire end ferrules can be pressed together particularly easily with crimping pliers. Special cable eyelet pliers are suitable for fastening ring eyelets to conductor cables.
Top Products: Insulated wire end ferrules, ring cable lugs & crimping pliers
Insulated wire end ferrule
Klauke's insulated wire end ferrules are particularly suitable for fine and superfine stranded conductors. The easy-entry insulation ensures splice-free cable entry. With a length of 10 mm and a pin length of 6 mm, the ferrules are optimal for a conductor cross-div of 0.25 mm2.
The insulated ferrules are temperature resistant up to 105 °C and have an electro-tinned surface to protect against corrosion.
Insulated ring cable lug
The insulated ring cable lug from Klauke is suitable for high-quality brazing processes in the crimping area. Especially for fine and superfine stranded conductors, the ring cable lug offers a high-quality solution.
Thanks to Easy-Entry insulation, cable entry is extremely simple. The cable lug is insulated, halogen-free and has a tin-plated surface. The product covers a total cross-div between 0.1 and 6 mm2 and complies with DIN 46237 with expanded insulating sleeve.
Electromechanical crimping tool for insulated connectors
The electromechanical crimping tool with PowerSense function ensures perfect results even with minimal effort. The pliers combine the best of both worlds: the advantages of manual crimping pliers and the convenience of working with battery-powered hydraulic crimping tools.
All tool functions of the crimping tool can be controlled by practical single-lever operation. The complete closing of the inserts is monitored by an electronic control with locking functions. Other product highlights include the LED light for illuminating the crimping point and work area and the multifunction LED for maintenance indication.
