Product recommendations
Top product categories from SCHURTER: Connectors, fuse holders, switches, filters & co.
SCHURTER AG offers a wide range of product categories for modern industrial applications. The range includes equipment protection components (for example, fuse holders, fuses, and equipment circuit breakers), equipment connections (plug-in connection components such as IEC plugs or sockets), switches (for example, pressure switches or piezo pushbuttons) and EMC products (for example, high-current chokes or line filters).
Device connectors - electrical components for coupling conductors
IEC connectors are assigned to the category of electromechanical components. In their mode of use, appliance connectors serve to couple conductors (as connectors) to complete a circuit, i.e., to establish a current flow. Connectors and also adapters have a "gender" in technical language: the male component is the plug; the female component is the socket.
To meet industry requirements, the manufacturer offers numerous configurations of connectors and adapters. These are designed for use in power-related, data-related and audio-visual applications. Industrially used connectors are characterized by mechanical robustness and high-quality workmanship.

Microfuses for the protection of electronic systems and circuits
Fuses such as microfuses are installed to interrupt circuits and protect electronic and electrical components from overload. In the event of a short circuit, the fuse automatically shuts down the circuit. Common types of fuses are fusible links, automatic circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers (RCDs for short).
Automatic circuit breakers and circuit breakers often have an electromagnetic release, which means they can be used multiple times. As a result, costs can be reduced, and component wear is minimized.

Suppression filters from SCHURTER
Line filters are essential components for the protection of power circuits. Suppression filters suppress high-frequency interference - for example from coils, capacitors, or resistors. These filter the current flow and reduce the amount of current passing through to a harmless level of voltage for the end device. Faulty or poorly shielded device connections are often the cause of optical interference on screens and acoustic interference in loudspeakers.

Device plugs and connectors of the product series 4782
For the power supply of electrical devices, SCHURTER AG offers, among others, appliance connectors of the 4782 series. The products of the series comply with protection class I according to the applicable IEC 61140 safety standards. They are suitable for use in specific industrial sectors, such as medical technology, automotive or aerospace industry.
The cable connectors are to be mounted by screw fixing - their pin temperature for optimum efficiency is 70 °C maximum. The housing of the device connectors is made of thermoplastic. This makes the product more robust against mechanical impact.

Closed fuse holders of the manufacturer series FPG1
Due to their construction, the fuse holders are characterized by a compact design. They are mounted by soldering on the front side of the corresponding component (for example, printed circuit boards). The manufacturer's fuse holders fall into overvoltage category III according to the applicable protection standard IEC 60664-1. Especially for use in sensitive industries, such as medical technology, reliably functioning fuse holders are needed to prevent damage to electrical components or their failure.
