Etchant, iron-III chloride, liquid, type Bungard 73131-01
40 %- solution with iron-III chloride, by adding 860 ml of water per liter it can be diluted to 30 weight percent. Other than sodium peroxosulphate, the etchant also produces satisfactory results in cold state, while its best performance is achieved at +40 to +50 °C. Iron chloride has a tendency towards the formation of sludge. This can be prevented by adding small quantities of hydrochloric acid to the used etchant (never add to fresh etchant).
