The 2017 series of compact electronic DC loads, EA-EL 3000 B, is the second generation of small benchtop loads with 400 W rated power. It offers new nominal voltages and currents for daily laboratory, school or workshop use.

The devices support the four control modes constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR). In addition, the fast, processor-based control unit offers a number of in- teresting features, such as a function generator that can generate common functions such as square, triangle or ramp. The color display, together with a keypad and two rotary knobs, provides an intuitive way of operation and better clarity.
