General-purpose adhesive and sealing compounds for electronic applications. Favorable properties, adhesion without primer on almost any substrate. The type designation RTV is the abbreviation for a typical compound property, namely the cross-linkage at room temperature.
Pasty, type RTV 102/103/108.
The pasty compound is applied and then cross-links at room temperature to form a strong silicon rubber. High dielectric values, moisture-resistant; Shore A hardness: 30. Tensile strength: 2.8 MPa. Density: 1.05 g/cm². Elongation: 450%. Note: the compound can act slightly corrosive (namely in combination with copper). Operating temperatures: max.+200 °C (briefly to +260 °C).
