The UMG 104, equipped with a 500 MHz DSP (Digital Signal Processor), is an absolutely fast and powerful network analyzer. The continuous sampling of the 8 channels with 20 kHz per channel allows the recording of all electrical parameters (over 800 values), min and max values, the essential voltage quality values such as harmonics (up to 40, per phase with direction detection) On the basis of this data, production failures can be avoided, concepts e.g. for the reduction of electricity costs can be developed, measures can be initiated and the achieved improvements can be monitored and documented with the UMG 104. By means of modern communication architectures, the collected data is forwarded to a central location, stored centrally in powerful databases and made available for further processing in an open architecture. The simple integration into an existing building control system or PLC environment extends the areas of application of the UMG 104.
