The casting compound Wepesil VT 3602 KK protects and insulates electronic components and assemblies against extreme climatic influences and aggressive media.
Features
- Base: silicone (SR)
- Crystal-clear, high transparency even in high layers
- Solvent-free/VOC free
- High tear resistance
- Very low heat generation and very low shrinkage pressure when cured
- Suitable for sensitive electronic components as it reduces material tensions under thermal shocks
- High optical temperature resistance, thus particularly suitable for applications in lighting electronics/LED technology, e.g. for high power LEDs
- Excellent resistance to chemicals, UV light and weathering
- Excellent resistance to yellowing
- Dielectric properties are almost constant over a wide temperature and frequency range
- Hardly flammable due to its chemical characterisation
- Good resistance to corona and glowing
- Good protection against shock, impact and vibration
- Easy to remove for repair
