The cable protection conduit is made of specially modified polyamide 12 with a high discharge capacity. The material is halogen-, phosphor-, and cadmium-free. The cable protection conduit meets the electrostatic requirements for conductive materials when earthed, while also offering outstanding flexibility. With appropriate earthing, it can be used in dust explosion hazardous areas of Zone 20, 21, and 22, as well as in gas explosion hazardous areas of Zone 0, 1, and 2 (independent of the explosion group of the existing gas). These properties make the conduit the perfect choice for industrial handling systems, robotics applications, and all areas where antistatic (ESD protection) equipment is required—such as mining, refineries, and the chemical industry.
