Pushbutton safety coupling, 199987, Riegler
The safety coupling with a pushbutton feature has an inner diameter of 7.4 and is made of rotating aluminum, with a sleeve inner diameter of 9. It can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 12 bar and is suitable for temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C. When it is pressed for the first time, air is relieved from the coupling but the plug in the coupling remains locked. The plug is only disconnected when the pushbutton is pressed for the second time. The dreaded "whiplash effect" is avoided and the risk of injury to the operator virtually eliminated.
