R&S®RTO/RTE/RTH oscilloscopes support triggering and decoding, including symbolic decoding. You can set up decoding in seconds. For analysis, results can be viewed as color-coded telegrams and in a table. Errors are identified efficently using the hardware-accelerated trigger. You can trigger on fast channel (calibration, sync, status, data), slow channel (ID and data) and various error conditions.

- Decode in different formats, including fast and slow serial messages, e.g. in HEX, binary or unsigned format
- Symbolic decoding support to show messages in physical units, e.g. temperature or pressure
- Display of fast and slow (short and enhanced) serial messages as two separate color-coded bus signals as well as in tabular format
- Flexible trigger capability on fast and slow channel. Trigger on various error conditions, including fast and slow channel CRC errors, timing and pulse period errors
- Support of the different CRC checksum calculations in line with TLE 4998X and SAE J2716, v2008 and v2010
