This device is intended for monitoring off-grid loads. It measures the insulation resistance of the load by injecting a direct current between the mains and earth. The configuration is set depending on the load. The settings are made on the front of the device. The settings concern the alarm and pre-alarm thresholds as well as the setting as to whether the motor should start or not. It is equipped with a manual auto-test. If the insulation resistance of the system falls below the set threshold value, i.e. if there is an earth fault, an alarm is triggered via the IMD output relay. As soon as no more faults are detected, the alarm is cancelled and the alarm relay returns to its normal state. This product can be installed on a DIN rail.
