Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLA1576G, Schneider Electric
This PLA is a versatile, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications and it has nominal dimensions of 1500 mm in height, 750 mm in width, and 620 mm in depth. It is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, offering durability and resistance to harsh environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035). It consists of two side parts, one plain front door, one rear panel, and is designed for easy access to the equipment inside. The door can be opened from both the right and left sides, up to 120°, and features a four-point lock with a 5 mm double-bar insert.
The door and rear panel are also removable for maintenance purposes, the enclosure offers robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard, and has an IK10 rating (IEC 62262), indicating high resistance to impacts It also has a NEMA 2, 3S, 1, 5, 12, 3X, 3R, 3, and 13 rating to provide protection against dust, water, and other hazards it is rated IP65 (IEC 60529), offering complete protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions. It is DNV marine, UL/cUL listed, and Veritas certified and can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -35 °C to 90 °C without affecting its performance.
