Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAT12104G, Schneider Electric
This PLAT version of the PLA is a versatile, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications. It measures 1250 mm in height, 1000 mm in width, and 420 mm in depth, also is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass. This material provides the enclosure with durability and resistance to harsh environments, both indoor and outdoor. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035) and consists of two side parts, two plain front doors, two rear panels, and one canopy. The door can be opened from both the right and left sides, up to 120°, and features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.
The doors and rear panels are also removable for maintenance purposes, and the canopy can be removed by fixing elements. The enclosure offers robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It is rated IP44 (IEC 60529) with a ventilated canopy, offering high protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions.
