Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAT12124G, Schneider Electric
This PLAT version of the PLA is a versatile, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications. The enclosure has nominal dimensions of 1250 mm in height, 1250 mm in width, and 420 mm in depth. It is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, providing durability and resistance to harsh environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035), and consists of two side parts, two plain front doors, two rear panels, and one canopy. The doors can open up to 120° from both the right and left sides, and features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.
The doors and rear panels can be removed for maintenance purposes, and the canopy can also be removed by fixing elements to provide access to the top of the enclosure. The enclosure offers robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It is rated IP44 (IEC 60529), offering high protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions.
