Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAT15104G, Schneider Electric

This PLAT version of the PLA is a versatile, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications It has an open top and sealed bottom, assembled with side parts. The enclosure measures 1500 mm in height, 1000 mm in width, and 420 mm in depth. It is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, providing durability and resistance to harsh environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035). It consists of two side parts, two plain front doors, two rear panels, and one canopy. The door can be opened from both the right and left sides, up to 120°, and features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.

The doors and rear panels are also removable for maintenance purposes, and the canopy can be removed by fixing elements. The enclosure is designed to offer robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It is rated IP44 (IEC 60529), providing high protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions.
