Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAZ1054G, Schneider Electric
This PLAZ version of the PLA is a multi-purpose, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications. It is 1000 mm in height, 500 mm in width, and 420 mm in depth, also is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, providing durability and resistance to harsh environments. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035). It consists of two side parts, one plain front door, one rear panel, and one plinth. The door is designed to open up to 120° from either the right or left side, allowing easy access to the equipment inside. It features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.
The door and rear panel are removable for maintenance purposes The enclosure provides robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impacts, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It has an IK10 rating (IEC 62262), indicating high resistance to impacts it is rated IP54 (IEC 60529), offering high protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions.
