Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAZ1274G, Schneider Electric

This PLAZ version of the PLA is a multi-purpose, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications. It has a sealed top and an open bottom, assembled with side parts. The enclosure has nominal dimensions of 1250 mm in height, 750 mm in width, and 420 mm in depth. It is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, offering durability and resistance to harsh environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. The enclosure is available in grey (RAL 7035). It consists of two side parts, one plain front door, one rear panel, and one plinth. The door can be opened from both the right and left sides, up to 120°, and features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.

The door and rear panel are also removable for maintenance purposes The enclosure provides robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It has an IK10 rating (IEC 62262), indicating high resistance to impacts it is rated IP54 (IEC 60529), offering high protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions.
