With the optimised design and the new, high-quality plastic, not only has the stability been significantly increased, but the fire protection properties have also improved. This means that the material is flame-retardant, has low smoke toxicity and density and meets the requirements of EN 45545-2 (fire protection in rail vehicles) for classes R22, R23 and R24 with the highest hazard level HL3. Furthermore, the guide rails are also considered halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21.
