The i3A DC/DC converters are perfectly suited to generate additional voltages with a high nominal current from a 12, 24, 36 or 48 V standard power supply. They have a very high efficiency up to 98%. Typical fields of application can be found in industry or test and measurement technology as well as in medical or telecommunications applications. Various control signals such as frequency synchronization, sequencing, Power DC good and remote on / off options complete the product specifications. The output voltage of the i3A converter can be trimmed via a pin using an external resistor. A remote sense function allows compensation of voltage drops on the circuit board. The remote ON / OFF function can be ordered with either positive or negative logic. To protect the load and the i3A itself, the module switches off in the event of input undervoltage, overcurrent or overtemperature situation.
