Hex Buffer/Driver, PDIP-14, Texas Instruments SN7407N
Hex inverter buffers/drivers, SN7407N, Texas Instruments
The SN7407N is a hex buffer/driver in 14 pin DIP package. It features high voltage open collector outputs for interfacing with high level circuits (MOS), driving high current loads (such as lamps or relays). It also characterized for use as buffers for driving TTL inputs. This device has minimum breakdown voltage of 30V and maximum sink current of 40mA. This device performs boolean function Y=A in positive logic. Inputs are diode clamped to minimize transmission line effects which simplifies design.
Features
- Convert TTL voltage levels to MOS levels
- High sink-current capability design
- Open-collector driver for indicator lamps
- Inputs fully compatible with most TTL circuits
Applications
- Audio Docks: portable
