With high sound level stability and outstanding low-range bass response. The wide rubber surround, long voice coil and the extra large magnet system enable extreme strokes. The multiple venting facilities of the voice coil (pole core hole, perforations in the pole plate, recesses in the aluminum die cast basket for venting the centering unit from behind) minimize losses and flow noise. The Capton voice coil carrier and the long voice coil enable the driver to withstand considerable high loads. The diaphragm is a sandwich construction made of layers of fiber glass and polyester fabric, with particularly low resonance.
