Jürgen Lampert becomes new CEO at Bürklin Elektronik

Oberhaching, 12/20/2021 – With effect from February 01, 2022, Jürgen Lampert is appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bürklin GmbH und Co. KG. This is the first time in the company's history that an external executive has taken over the management of the family-owned company.

With Jürgen Lampert, Bürklin Elektronik has been able to win over a management personality who brings with him a strong understanding of the industry, international experience and the mentality that fits Bürklin Elektronik. The new CEO comes at an important time for the company. Bürklin Elektronik has undertaken important stabilizing change processes as well as product line adjustments over the past 16 months. The company has overcome the after-effects of the Corona pandemic and is back on track for success. Now it is time to set the strategically correct course for future growth. As CEO, Jürgen Lampert will continue to drive current initiatives forward, focusing in particular on expanding the digital business and optimizing the customer and supplier journey. "The company's long tradition inspires me. And I am convinced that there is still a lot of potential in Bürklin Elektronik. I have known Bürklin Elektronik since the early days of my career in the distribution industry and look forward to continuing the successful story," says Lampert.

The new CEO takes over from the current managing partners Johannes Bürklin and Veronika Tretter. After a joint transition phase, the siblings will withdraw from the operational management of the company. "With Jürgen Lampert, we have won an internationally experienced manager with a deep understanding of the industry, especially in the areas of digitalization as well as the company's focus on growth. He will be an enrichment for the entire team and will significantly drive the further development of our company," says Veronika Tretter, managing partner of Bürklin Elektronik.

The change in management at Bürklin Elektronik does not affect the company's corporate structure - Bürklin Elektronik remains 100% family-owned. The family fully supports the decision to have an external management and will continue to be in close consultation with Jürgen Lampert on an ongoing basis and on key company decisions.
