First-class reed relays
Reed relays work with the so-called reed switch. It makes it possible to open or close electrical circuits by a magnetic field acting from the outside. These components are used, for example, for signal switching in measuring instruments. The special relays consist of a solenoid coil usually wound from enameled copper wire. The so-called reed switch is located in the center of this coil. Because of their shielding, reed switches can often be packed tightly together without affecting each other. Reed relays are considered to be particularly reliable and also extremely durable.
