Efficient voltage adjustment with mains transformers
If the existing operating voltage in electronic systems and devices is too low or too high, it can be adjusted with the help of power transformers. These components always include a primary coil, a secondary coil and an iron core in which a magnetic field is generated. Depending on the desired application, there are different types, such as toroidal or print transformers.
Power transformers change the incoming voltage in such a way that connected power supply devices such as computers, smartphone chargers or TV sets can be fed with it. They ensure flawless operation and also protect electronic devices from damage due to overcurrent.
