This GDT is designed to offer high levels of performance on fast rising transients in the range of 100 V/μS to 1 KV/μS, which are those most likely created by induced lightning disturbances. This device features ultra low capacitance and is extremely robust, with the device being able to divert a 10,000 Amp pulse without destruction. It offers optimized internal geometry that provides low insertion loss at high frequencies, making it ideal for the protection of broadband and other high-speed transmission equipment.
