COMBI damp-proof cable junction box made of flame-retardant, halogen-free, glass fibre-reinforced polypropylene, in 2-component plastic technology combined with a puncture membrane made of thermoplastic elastomer. The box, with a high protection rating, is weather- and UV-resistant, as well as impact-resistant and shatter-proof. Ideally suited for indoor or outdoor installation and for extreme loads. High resistance to vegetable and animal fat, mineral oil, diesel, a weak acid, a weak and strong alkali, and alcohol. A permanently elastic, self-sealing side puncture membrane in combination with an integrated thread enables both direct cable installation through the membrane and the use of a cable gland without a locknut. A captive quick-release cover screw closes the box with just a quarter turn. There is a permanently elastic, self-sealing push-through membrane on the side and in the base for tool-free cable entry.
