COMBI damp-proof cable junction box made of flame-retardant, halogen-free, reinforced thermoplastic, in 2-component plastic technology combined with puncture membranes made of thermoplastic elastomer. The box, with a high degree of protection, is weather- and UV-resistant, as well as impact-resistant and break-proof. Ideally suited for extreme loads or installation indoors or outdoors. High resistance to vegetable and animal fats, mineral oil, diesel, weak acids, weak and strong alkalis, and alcohol. Permanently elastic, self-sealing, lateral puncture membranes in a patented combination with an integrated thread enable both direct cable installation through the membrane and the use of cable glands without locknuts. A captive quick-release cover screw closes the box with just a quarter turn. The box is fastened using a quick-fit mounting bracket or internal openings outside the sealing area.
